Teen Reviewers and Criticstrac02

TRaC is a FREE after-school opportunity for teens to explore the arts in NYC. Each fall and spring, participants spend 10 weeks attending performances and exhibitions all over NYC, meeting artists, learning the art of discussion and critical writing, publishing reviews on our online publication The High 5 Review and so much more!

Apply to Fall TRaC today! Applications are due September 29th.

Can’t make the 10-week commitment to TRaC?

  • Participate in our 4-week long Summer TRaC Intensive and explore the arts all over the 5 boroughs with a different adventure each day!
  • Join the Freelancer Corps and independently attend performances and exhibitions while publishing your reviews on the High 5 Review.
  • Attend our monthly Pizza and a Movie night. Join teens from all over the metro area at Sony Wonder Technology Lab for an ever-changing evening of food, film, and conversation on the first Friday of every month.

After the fall TRaC season and because of High5, I am now even more encouraged to find performances and see art independently.

Student Art ProgramSAP

ArtsConnection’s Student Art Program showcases works by young artists in grades 6-12 from a wide cross-section of New York City’s public schools. In partnership with New York City Visual Arts students, student work is submitted for selection in exhibitions hosted by corporate partners. For students, the artistic process is transformed from a subject learned in school to a professional endeavor.
