Art is what changes the world around us.

Thank you to all who attended the
Back to School with ArtsConnection benefit gala
on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
It was truly a night to remember.

Hosted by Seth Gilliam, the evening honored Ted Berger, ArtsConnection founding board member, whose tireless efforts have impacted and enriched millions of people’s lives throughout New York City and beyond. Also honored were Arts Innovators Clayton Calvert and Parker Calvert, and Josh Campbell, and the Janklow Awards honorees Madonna Sang Lee and Amparo Chigui Santiago, whose endeavors carry forward the vital work of broadening access to the arts.

For 43 years, ArtsConnection has provided innovative arts programming to millions of students in the New York City public school system, enhancing children’s intellectual, personal, and social growth, while developing award-winning educational models. As our honoree Ted Berger mentioned in his speech, this work must continue.
It is truly our honor to do just that.
