LINKING LEARNING AND THE ARTS
Quality arts education empowers young people to imagine, build new skills, and act on their capabilities—important tools for students to navigate their futures. For over 40 years, ArtsConnection has provided comprehensive arts education for NYC public school students across the five boroughs through programming in 100+ schools, as well as through out-of-school-time programs that engage teens in exploring pathways to careers in the creative industries. The organization has a long history of working with educators, youth workers, and students who have been marginalized in different ways, helping them develop their capacity to successfully navigate the real-life challenges they face.
