Bringing an End to the School Year with a Strong Finish

The 2018-2019 school year was a huge success! We served over 45,000 students and collaborated with 120 New York City public schools. Our work doesn’t stop in June, however. As we wrap-up, we are also gearing-up for the summer.  In July, ArtsConnection will be back in all five boroughs for our NYC Department of Education’s Summer in the City 2019: Multilingual Learners Summer Academy, collaborating with over 80 schools. Teen Programs’ Map Free City will be exploring the city’s arts and cultural offerings, while teens in the Bronx will enjoy Pizza and a Movie: Bronx Edition, and Teen Reviewers and Critics will kick-off a new initiative with DreamYard located at South Bronx Early College Academy. The summer will also bring a partnership with Stuyvesant High School for the first time where we will be working with their students in a theater residency program. In the meantime, take a look at some of the work we did with our students this past year:
