Jack Adams is a proud alum of ArtsConnection’s Programs and a passionate advocate for arts education. He has seen firsthand both the power of the arts to keep students engaged in learning and the disparities in access that so many young people face.
“As a proud alum of New York City public schools, I’ve seen both the power of the arts in keeping students engaged in learning, and the great disparities in access to arts education. I often hear adults say that learning to make art can be challenging, and I know that for young people, it can be as effortless as finger painting. Art has been a through-line that has carried me through each stage of life, and I’ll work to ensure that our city’s young people are afforded the same opportunities.”
