Teen Programs Open House

We celebrated the first day of Black History Month with the Teen Programs Open House exploring what makes our Teen Programs one of NYC’s best FREE arts-centric out-of-school time experiences for teens ages 14-19!

We are deeply grateful to Sony Music Entertainment who not only provided the space for the open house but also created a soundscape celebrating Black artistry in front of and behind the mic that played while teens explored fun activities such as a graffiti wall, photo booth, and various workshops.

Teens were transfixed by the “Careers in the Arts” panelists’ candor as they recounted their career paths, shinning a light on opportunities in the arts. Thank you Aaliytha Stevens (SpotCo and Ashe Collective), Chelsea Smith (Altman Foundation), Christie Love Santiago (Apollo Theater), and Russ Jones (Sony Music Entertainment) for your inspiration and wisdom.
