Jojo Gonzalez is a veteran Teaching Artist and Actor. As a Teaching Artist, he has collaborated with countless children all over the city to create original theatrical presentations based on the children’s imagination. In 2014, he received the Janklow Award for his commitment to arts education and exemplary work with ArtsConnection since 2004. As an Actor, he has appeared in numerous Theater, Film and Television productions opposite Al Pacino, Alan Arkin, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, James Gandolfini, Barry Levinson, Chris Meloni, Ice-T, Anthony Lapaglia and Sandra Oh to name a few. In 2007, he received an OBIE Award for his work on “The Romance of Magno Rubio”.
