Another School Year Comes to an End

The 2022-2023 school year was an enormous success! We served over 26,000 students and collaborated with 79 New York City public schools. We are deeply engaged with schools and young people as they share their arts learning and creative expressions through performances, exhibitions, and community celebrations. It felt great to be in community at so many schools across all five boroughs.

“The production of Fame Jr. at Middle School 202 Robert H. Goddard has not only delighted audiences but has also rekindled a deep passion for theater and the performing arts within the hearts of the students and staff. The impact of this extraordinary production will resonate for years to come, serving as a powerful reminder of the transformative power of the arts.”

— Kristina Bufano, English Teacher

ArtsConnection works with teams of middle school teachers to help them support young people through the creation of a Broadway Jr. production. Coordinated in partnership with the New York City Department of Education, Music Theater International (MTI) and ITheatrics.
