Newest Board Members!

ArtsConnection is pleased to welcome the most recent additions to our Board of Directors. We are delighted to have added directors with expertise in the arts, finance, fundraising, marketing and data analytics. We are grateful to each of these wonderful volunteers for joining our organization’s governance and look forward to working with them as we continue to provide education through the arts to young people in New York City.

Amy Sung is a venture capitalist advising and investing in the most promising women entrepreneurs. She brings over a decade of experience raising capital for Fortune 500 companies and will share her innovative business and marketing strategies in support of raising ArtsConnection’s visibility.
Tibisay Salerno is the president of Teckesta, a consulting and impact investment firm which supports women- and minority-owned businesses. Prior to founding Teckesta in 2012, Ms. Salerno worked in finance for over fifteen years for several top-tier firms: Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Gabelli Asset Management and Millennium Partners. In addition to finance and business experience, she will bring her special expertise in data analytics to ArtsConnection’s work.
Iris Lior Posternack is a Development Consultant for arts and cultural organizations. She has advised many non-profits, including The High Line, Neue Galerie New York and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Previously, she was the Deputy Chief Development Officer for Individual Gifts at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she was also a part-time Arts Educator for young children. Iris looks forward to sharing her philanthropic strategic planning and fundraising expertise with ArtsConnection.
Nduka Nwankwo has been an Associate, Mergers and Acquisitions, at JP Morgan & Co since 2019. He served as an officer for youth development organization Alternatives in Action and as a career mentor at the POSSE Foundation, among his volunteer leadership positions. We look forward to Nduka’s finance expertise, innovative business and marketing strategies, and boundless energy that will be invaluable to ArtsConnection’s success.
Josephine Magliocco has been an active volunteer in arts, politics and her children’s schools. Joey serves on the board of directors at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia and at the YWCA in Greenwich CT, in addition to being a member of the Bruce Museum’s Collector’s Council. She is currently a docent at the Whitney Museum of Art and is passionate about sharing her knowledge of contemporary art. 
Jawad Haider is a senior investment banker at Citi, where he leads sector coverage for the insurance industry. He has over 20 years’ experience in advising companies on a wide variety of strategic, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions. Jawad has a long-standing interest in the arts and arts education. He has been a member of the Friends of the Islamic Art collection at the Met Museum for several years and served as an assistant on a Sol LeWitt installation.
